My life did not begin in comfort; it began amidst the challenging clatter of railway tracks. As a young boy, my reality was shaped by intense struggle. My father was completely blind, and to survive, I held his hand as we walked through train compartments, begging together for a single day’s meal. I have looked poverty directly in the eyes. I have known the weight of being completely invisible to the world, and I have felt the painful sting of lacking access to a dignity that every human child naturally deserves.

But within those years of profound hardship, a burning conviction took root in my soul: the cycle of struggle must be broken, and the only key to breaking it is education.

After navigating years of raw adversity, my path eventually led me to the busy platforms of the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station. There, my heart broke all over again. I witnessed crowds of young children and adolescents losing their childhoods, their dreams, and their very futures to the blinding darkness of substance addiction. They were wandering aimlessly, entirely abandoned by circumstances.

I recognized myself in them. I knew that if someone didn’t step in to guide them toward a better path, an entire generation of bright minds would be permanently lost. Driven by that emergency, in 2008, I decided to start a completely free tuition center right there. It wasn't about money; it was an absolute rescue mission to restore hope through alphabets, numbers, and basic human dignity.

For well over a decade, that small spark grew. I quietly traveled across various districts of West Bengal, opening and running unofficial free tutoring spaces wherever children were neglected. By the grace of the community and the relentless hard work of our supporters, we reached a major milestone in 2023. To give our mission structural stability and long-term permanence, we officially registered our network to Nehaeducare Foundation under section 80G. This step allowed us to streamline our support and ensure our healing approach could expand systematically.

Yet, as I looked at the widening gap in our social structure, a deep realization hit me: localized, after-school tuition centers were simply not enough to create the permanent, systemic change our society desperately needs. A few hours of evening study could not fully undo the barriers faced by an underprivileged child. To truly rewrite their destinies, these children needed a sanctuary of their own. This realization gave birth to our grandest dream: Neha Educare Academy, envisioned and planned in 2025 to set up a School for the underprivileged students of the society where students from the financially weak background could also get the quality education and they can also compete with the students of top class schools.
